Terms of Service
By creating an account or using Boki, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Boki. If you are using Boki on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms on their behalf.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activity that happens under your account. You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not use Boki to upload or generate content that is illegal, infringing, harassing, or otherwise harmful.
- Do not attempt to reverse-engineer the service, abuse the AI assistant, or scrape content beyond reasonable personal use.
- Do not upload books or content for which you do not have the rights to use.
4. Subscriptions and payments
Boki offers a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. Pro subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly basis and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial periods unless required by law.
5. AI-generated content
Lectures, summaries, and answers in Boki are generated by AI models and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Use them as a learning aid, not as a substitute for the original work or for professional advice.
6. Intellectual property
The Boki service, including its software, design, and AI-generated lectures distributed through the public library, is owned by us or our licensors. Content you upload remains yours; you grant us a non-exclusive license to process and display it inside your workspace so we can provide the service.
7. Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boki and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the service.
9. Termination
You may stop using Boki and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms.
10. Changes
We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
